I Am Who I Am

Thanks to Amanda Seales for platforming being Black, autistic, and female!

I sense a revolution of awareness happening for many of us who have not had the power of this awareness. I know that it is happening for me.

I have never run away from the truth of who I am, but I had a blind spot until Amanda did what she did in her interview with Shannon Sharpe.

I have always been keenly aware of the experiences to which Amanda pointed in her interview with him. I have literally had them all, albeit not being a famous person. I was liberated by her adept handling of that whole interview, literally every second of the exchange.

So much of the world we live in is run on lies and deceptions, it is constraining to the full expression and greatness of humanity. People who require people to be smaller than them to be comfortable is a sad state of affairs for humanity.

I am not going to spend a lot of time outlining it in this blog post because I have more pressing things to which I need to attend right now, but I invite you to watch the whole interview when you have a chance.

And one of my favorite influencers did what she did with one of the clips of it. I also need to shout out someone who was commenting on it as well. @MangosAtSunset's and @hudsonsholistichealing's comments were life to me on that comment thread.

I may revisit this at another time to fully outline it, but this is a worthy start.
